This portlet warns your portals user that you are using cookies in
agreement with the European Directive 2009/136/CE. According to this
directive, since June 02, 2015 every public site need to alert their
users and force them to accept cookie usage.
You can deploy this portlet on 6.1.x and 6.2.x Liferay
installation, CE or EE. To activate this plugin you simply need to add
a first property to your portal-ext.properties (and restart):
layout.static.portlets.all=cookiesnotification_WAR_cookiesnotificationportlet
If you want to customize alert message you can add a simple
webcontent and configure it adding this property:
cookies.accepted.journalarticle.groupid=[web_content_group_id]
cookies.accepted.journalarticle.id=[web_content_id]
