Liferay has different Out of Box Modules for various business functions.
But there is no out of box module available for creating and managing
events and similar functionalities.
Event manager plugin enables organizations to manage the events . This plugin consists of two components
1) Display events with language specific content
2) Administrate the Events
3) Integration with Google Map and display events on Map.
Multiple backend administrators can create the events based on language which can be published to end user based on date and time . plugin can maintain the event based on the event duration set by the admin. Events can be updated or deleted based in case of any amendments in the event schedule.
