Automated System Health Checklist

Run an automated checklist for your system’s health.
This checklist helps detect unusual or unsupported setups, as well as systems that have been restored in a different environment.

Notable features include:

  • Runs VerifyProperties for your current version at runtime.

  • Checks the age of your installation, taking into account whether you prefer an LTS (Long-Term Support) version or not.
(Some of these features are DXP-specific, and the desired age is configurable.)

  • Performs User Password Hashing checks, including a configurable sample size of users to verify that password hashing strength is up to date.

  • Verifies the correct configuration of boolean and numeric properties.

  • Detects if a backup has been restored in a different system, for example when a production (PRD) backup is restored in a UAT environment.
In such cases, an admin may need to reconfigure other aspects, such as Client Extensions, Data Providers, or Web Hooks.

  • Detects proper configuration of redirection rules for accessed hostnames.

  • Displays the remaining Premium Support period (DXP-only) and issues an alert at a configurable time before it expires.

  • Lets you define the minimum number of nodes expected to be active in a healthy cluster.

  • Checks the validity of certificates used by connected systems (e.g., Client Extensions, Data Providers, Web Hooks, or other manually configured hosts).

  • Supports optional “relaxed” settings for development systems, where certain hostnames can be explicitly marked to allow smoother development experiences.

  • Detects if your search index is outdated and needs reindexing (by sampling the number of indexed users).

  • Detects unsupported configurations, such as using HSQL or the Elasticsearch Sidecar.

  • Detects if the server started with incomplete components (smoke-test or beta setups) and needs a restart to become fully available.

  • Detects if ImageMagick is configured and functioning properly to enable AVIF and WEBP image formats, including Adaptive Images and Previews.

  • Relaxed settings now default to "localhost", assuming that a system accessed under this name is a development environment where convenience is preferred.
(Configurable in System Settings and Instance Settings.)

  • Fragment validation detects potential SPA-related problems.
Includes optional whitelist support via checksums and JS comments.

  • Adds support for Jakarta-EE release 2025-Q3.

  • Bugfix: Ignoring expired TLS certificates now applies only to the specific certificate’s not-valid-after date, rather than affecting all future certificates for the same domain.

New in Version 1.0.7

  • Detects if Data Sets have been activated in Beta before they were released and notifies users of necessary data cleanup.
